About The Golf Diary Personal Scoring System
The Golf Diary was born in 1988. Unsatisfied with the information
given by the average scorecard (the Score) and watching playing
partners marking their putts on their cards, the Golf Diary was
something golfers were looking for to increase awareness and
enjoyment of their game.
In 1988, the golfing public was barely aware
of the statistics that lay the foundation of improved play. Fairways
hit , & Greens in Regulation graphics were just beginning
to become part of golf on TV and, along with putting , have since become
the defining statistics of tournament golf.
The Golf Diary Personal Scoring System combines
the Golf Diary scoring booklet with our GDPSS
Software to provide you with all the information necessary to
IMPROVE YOUR GAME .
Transfer your info from the scoring booklet to your Golf
Diary software program on your computer and we'll
do the math. It's easy, it's informative, and it's fun.
Fairways hit, GIRs, Chipping and Sand Save %, Putting average
are all here and more...
THE GOLF DIARY
TELLS the STORY .
Enjoy your game,
